Members’ State of Mind
The past couple of years (vs past year and a half has) have been one of the strangest, most stressful years many members have ever faced. According to KFF, in January 2021, four in ten adults in the U.S. reported symptoms of anxiety or depressive disorder, up from one in ten adults who reported these symptoms from January to June 20191. And younger adults were the most likely to have anxiety and/or depressive disorder during COVID-19.
